GFMA Global FX Division Appoints Managing Director, Americas
New York, NY, 16 June 2015 – Victoria Cumings has been
appointed Managing Director, Americas, for the Global FX Division of the Global
Financial Markets Association (GFMA) with immediate effect. In this role she reports to James Kemp,
Managing Director of the Global FX Division.
Victoria joins from CLS Bank International, where she was Executive Director, Head of New York Legal. Before that she was Vice President, Senior Legal Counsel at HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., and previously worked at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP
as an attorney in the Derivatives and Capital Markets practice groups in New York and London.
Victoria will be responsible for regulatory issues in the Americas, including the development of new Global FX Division relationships in the growing South American region. She will also take responsibility for a number of global projects in areas including margin and clearing.
James Kemp, managing director of the GFMA Global FX Division, commented:
